This policy explains how Wattux may collect, use, disclose, and retain information when you visit our storefront, place an order, contact support, or otherwise interact with us. Legal business name, mailing address, and jurisdictional details are completed before publication.
Information we collect
- Contact and account details such as name, email address, phone number, and login information
- Order, billing, shipping, and transaction details
- Messages and information you provide to customer support
- Device, browser, IP address, approximate location, and storefront activity data
- Cookie, analytics, and advertising identifiers when those tools are enabled and permitted
Payment card details are generally handled by Shopify and our payment providers rather than stored directly by Wattux. We do not ask you to send full payment card numbers, passwords, or government ID through customer support.
How we use information
We may use information to process and deliver orders, provide support, communicate about transactions, prevent fraud and abuse, maintain our storefront, analyze performance, personalize content, send marketing where permitted, and comply with legal and accounting obligations.
We may use Shopify features and approved service providers for hosting, payments, fulfillment, shipping, analytics, email, customer support, and advertising.
Cookies and advertising
Our storefront may use essential cookies and, if enabled, analytics or advertising pixels. We will list the actual tools used, configure consent where required, and provide any available opt-out controls before launch.
Sharing
We may share information with Shopify, payment processors, fulfillment and shipping partners, technology providers, professional advisers, government authorities when required, and a successor in a business transfer. We do not sell personal information for money unless the final policy expressly says so and applicable law permits it.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above, including order, tax, warranty, dispute, and legal records. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online system is guaranteed to be completely secure.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, withdraw consent, or opt out of certain marketing or targeted advertising. Contact us to make a request.
Children
Wattux is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of that law.
